RESEARCH
INTERESTS:
Bioengineering and biotechnology, particularly for medical devices and
applications. My current project involves the development of a sensor
to measure cytokine levels in body fluids so as to provide early indications
of infection and/or stress. Areas of interest relevant to the cytokine
sensor include optics for detection (of up-converting phosphors), as well as
immunoassays and surface chemistry.
